How To Care Turtles

This summer, my dad promised hell buy me a pet. I was seriously sure I wanted a parrot. We went at the pet shop, I was kind of disappointed of what Ive seen. The parrots seemed to have a lot of disadvantages like noise and a lot of mess. I called mom and she sugested, more like a joke, a turtle. Well, I thought a bit: they live 50 to 100 years, so if I am careful my pet wont die soon. Also, they are quiet, dont make much mess, they like to be in the center of attention, they like hot places (and in my apartment its really hot,) and so on. But there was a problem. At the shop, there were no turtles. It was late, so we gave up for that day. Next day, 8 august, we got at the market, and found a lady with fish and a lot of food for them and turtles. We asked if she had any turtle on sale, and she pointed a bowl of them in a corner. They were all tiny and cute… I saw one, kind of crazy, in a good way. She kept swimming, not staying a second. I really liked her. Finally, got home, thought about different names, none of them seem to be pretty enough for her. I remembered then about Sookies cat (Southern Vampires/True Blood): Tina. A cute, short and proper name for my little one. Makes you think about something tiny. =) Nyan, dont mind me. All in one, got today a new camera, really great. Tested it on her. And dont mind the childish carpet. I was little when I chose it.
