@ Neonchris007 commercial pellet diet with high fat content, and if your turtle is too fat, possibly pyramid shell. You must have a number of foods, including fruits and vegetables, so do not become obese.

@ Neonchris007 yes and no. Granules little high protein, so that only represent 30% / RES Painting / diet with Cooter. “Pyramid” is a bad sign, but is caused by overeating and rapid growth (a diet with high protein content)

Unfortunately, someone told me that if you continue to feed your animals turtles with commercial pellet diet, the tortoise will have a shell that looks like a pyramid. Is this true? Maybe it’s a good sign? 2 DCO give thanks that the answer to this.

nice =) placement of small (eg, a fence feet) around the pond to keep safe. Of course, I will ensure that there were rocks to sunbathe in the middle of it =) I do not want to explore my backyard, too, and ultimately far from water if necessary. Thanks for the tips.

he can live in the pond, but the risks of animals who are attacking the pond should be large and have a pile of stones to hide!

Can turtles live in the pond in my backyard, not aqurium? It becomes too big for the tank I have and I think I could enjoy the space of a small pond. Risks in it, that I should know?
